MAYBE?... WE'LL SEE...

So Linds and I decided to go check out the new MEC that just opened up in our 'hizzle. Can I just say how awesome it is to have a MEC less than a five minute drive from our house?! It's awesome! It's fairly large as well, which was a little surprising. The Toronto store is quite large, and the Burlington store is honestly almost as big. I couldn't believe it. I have a feeling I might be spending some money there in the next couple months for sure.

Our trip had a specific purpose, as mentioned in the previous post, which was to find a pair of comfy walking shoes. After such a poor time thus far in trying to locate a good shoe, we both had low expectations. We were greatly surprised by how many of the shoes we tried were light-years better than the ones we've previously tried elsewhere. The first pair I tried on were PERFECT!... well, almost. The just needed to be one size larger. I tried on a few other pairs that were pretty good, but I couldn't ignore the first pair. Lindsay had the same experience with a pair she tried on. So we've managed to get them online from a MEC store in Victoria, BC. They shipped them out today, and it's a pretty sweet deal. It's free shipping, and if they don't fit then we can take them back for a refund at our Burlington location. Without further ado, I present... my shoe:


So yeah, I can't wait to get it and see if it really is the ever elusive "perfect" shoe.
