OUTTA GAS...

Man am I tired! I've been having the worst sleeps these past six nights, and I'm really feeling it today. I had to get up this morning at 5:45am to go do sound for an event called the "Oakville Prayer Breakfast". It's a yearly event that our company does sound for, and is basically a crammed room of about 600 well-to-do Christians in Oakville who buy tickets to get together for an early morning continental breakfast, along with a scheduled order of service that includes prayer, some music, and a guest speaker. As a side note, they actually had an incredible speaker this year, which is a nice change. He's the President and CEO of World Vision Canada, and his message this morning was phenomenal.

Anywho, my point is that this morning was the straw. I'm wasted now, and desperately need my bed. I'll live, lol, but this day is just dragging on now.

Apart from that, things are great. I've completed the first of my two tasks for this month for our big trip in March. I had done most of the research into transportation once Linds and I get to Europe, and decided to lease a car in France as part of a very cool buy-back program. Yesterday I secured the car I chose. It's a compact diesel engine Peugeot, here's a picture of it:

This will allow Linds and I to go at our own pace during the trip, and provide a nice cargo holder when traveling about. Also, it will allow us the idea of getting a cheap cooler over there, and store food for picnics or whatever as we go from city to village to city. I dunno if we'll actually do that, but it's a neat idea for sure. Next item on the trip list: book some accommodations, I'm not so much looking forward to that part as it'll be one of the biggest expenses of the trip. Oh well. Cheers!
