ERRRM... YEAH...

Holy workload Batman! It's been nuts here for the past month and a half for me! I've finally caught back up in terms of quotes that I've been doing, but it's been a stressful ride getting here. See, what happens typically here is that our ad-mailing goes out twice a year, January and September; afterwards quotes and visitations spike to about six venues a week for about a month, afterwards tapering off to fewer until it's basically settled out to a couple a week. This is insane as you basically spend two to three days a week just visiting venues, and only a couple days to actually work on the quotes. Anywho, it obviously builds up, and then I work like a donkey to claw my way back on top of things. Don't get me wrong, I love what I do, but it has it's moments of sheer insanity.

That being said, I actually have a spare minute to say hey! It's pretty bizarre these days, as I'm actually finding there to be TONNES of stuff on my mind, but I seem to be lacking the necessary vocabulary to express myself. Hence the title for my post... Errrm... yeah... ... ... I thought it was quite clever... Anywho, this brings me to a new annual segment that I will employ yearly, or at least right now, lol... ahem...

THINGS TO DO IN 2008
  • Erase remaining debt and save up a good chunk for our trip to Europe
  • Re-lose the weight that I lost around this time last year, but managed to re-gain over the last quarter of the year... sheesh, I'm such a tubby...
  • Play more guitar and attempt to write a few songs - I've been coming up with some cool bass lines lately and it's getting me all excited about trying my hand at writing some stuff
  • Beat 'Guitar Hero 3' on impossible...
  • Find me some Hidden Nazi Gold
  • ... ... ... is that all?... ... gee, I've got to get some more aspirations in my life, lol!

So that segment was a lot less exciting then I thought it would be... moving on. It's amazing how as life rolls on and people get older, they seem to become more embittered towards everything in general. I myself find that more and more things annoy me as I've aged, to the point where I can now picture myself as that stodgy elderly person at a Harvey's who complains about everything the people behind the counter are doing with and to their burger, and about its final result despite the fact that they engineered the burger themselves... ... anyone know what I'm talking about? I used to swear I'd never be that person... now I feel more like forming some sort of 'Justice League' with those poor old people and fighting department clerks and fast food attendants the world over... yeah... that'd be sweet... ... ... okay, so I'm not THAT bad yet, but I find it funny none-the-less, lol.

I miss having no responsibility and being able to just call up some friends on a random night and make something happen. Though, I wouldn't trade any of the positives of this stage of life for that opportunity, but I still miss it... ... ... as you can probably tell by now I'm simply leaking some of the random thoughts that have been swirling in my head, obviously in a way that doesn't quite express their depth, but at least it feels nice to leak them. Speaking of leaking... I'll be right back...

That's better, lol. Am I the only one who finds this stuff hilarious? I seriously crack me up. Anyways, that's all for now, peace out homeslices!
